Dancing for fun
We meet every 2nd & 4th Wednesday afternoon of the month at the Moorhayes Centre in Tiverton to learn both English Folk and Scottish Country Dancing.
These forms of dance are very similar and mainly comprise dancing in sets or groups. To enjoy this activity one does not need to have had previous dance knowledge, but knowing your left from your right is a definite advantage! It is fun and gentle exercise.
The sense of accomplishment in "conquering" a dance whether it be a strathspey, a reel or a jig is very satisfying.
We always welcome new members, both ladies and gentlemen. You do not need to bring a partner so do come along and enjoy the experience.
